Izr Radunsky was born in Minsk July 10, 1929. In his four years at the Art College in Minsk he learned the discipline s of academical painting. He was that a student at the Faculty of Graphic Arts in Moscow for six years, where a contemporary art was first introduced to him. Becoming equally accomplished in oil painting and watercolor; Izr was admitted to the Union of Soviet Artist (Professional Association of Artists) in 1962. During forty five years of his professional career; Izr had a number of one-man shows, participated in national and international exhibitions, and was a prize winner in various artistic competitions including the second highest award at the Russian Art Festival in Chicago. His art works are kept in museums, art fund, corporate and private collections in more than ten countries.
